Ellesmere Engineer achieves HNC in Building Services

12th November 2018

Congratulations to our Mechanical Project Engineer, Matthew Sutherland, on successfully completing a HNC in Building Services & The Built Environment from Salford College. Matt has achieved a Merit following two years of part time study and the course has broadened his industry knowledge, enabling him to further develop his career as a project / building services engineer.

Ellesmere Group prides itself on its excellent team of home-grown engineers, and Matt is a great example of the progression and opportunities that are available here. Since joining us as a 16-year-old apprentice, Matt has also gone on to gain his Level 3 NVQ in Heating and Ventilation and BESCA Arc Welding certificate. In his time with Ellesmere, he has gained plenty of onsite experience which now serves him well in his position in the office.
Salford College has provided the training for all our apprentice engineers and we enjoy an excellent relationship with them. We hope to continue this relationship with the College for many years to come.
